A professional home for property and casualty producers
We are an independent property and casualty agency based in Indianapolis. Our focus is protecting individuals, families, and businesses through personal auto, home, renters, landlord, umbrella, commercial auto, general liability, business owner's policies, and related coverages. We are not affiliated with, and do not offer, life insurance recruiting organizations, securities, or investment products.
Property & casualty only
A clear, focused product scope so you can develop genuine expertise instead of spreading yourself across unrelated business lines.
Independent contractor model
Licensed producers work as independent contractors on a commission basis, subject to a written agreement, applicable law, and carrier requirements.
Structured onboarding
Orientation covering agency systems, documentation standards, disclosure language, and how we handle client communication.
Mentorship and coaching
Access to experienced licensed professionals for coverage questions, quoting practice, and objection handling.
Compliance-first culture
Clear expectations around licensing, advertising, disclosures, privacy, and record retention — documented, not improvised.
Community roots
A locally grounded agency serving the Indianapolis community, with multilingual client service where available.
For licensed property and casualty producers
If you hold an active property and casualty license, we can discuss an independent contractor producer relationship with our agency.
- Active property and casualty license in your resident state
- National Producer Number (NPN) and license verification
- Carrier appointment requirements determined by each carrier, not the agency
- Commission-based compensation defined in a written producer agreement
- Access to agency quoting tools, templates, and documentation standards
- Responsibility for continuing education and license renewal
- Adherence to agency compliance, privacy, and advertising standards
For individuals pursuing licensure
If you are exploring the property and casualty licensing path, we can talk about what the process looks like and what an unlicensed candidate may and may not do in the meantime.
- Guidance on state pre-licensing education requirements
- Information about scheduling and preparing for the state examination
- An overview of the license application and background-check process
- Introduction to insurance fundamentals, terminology, and coverage basics
- A clear explanation of the limits placed on unlicensed activity
- A path to a producer conversation once you are properly licensed
What an unlicensed individual cannot do
- Sell, solicit, or negotiate insurance
- Quote premiums or recommend specific coverage
- Bind, alter, or confirm coverage
- Receive sales-based insurance compensation
- Interpret policy language or advise on claims outcomes
The general path to a property and casualty license
Requirements vary by state and change over time. The steps below describe the general process and are provided for informational purposes only — always confirm current requirements with your state insurance department.
Confirm state requirements
Identify your resident state's property and casualty licensing requirements, including required hours, fees, and any age or residency conditions.
Complete pre-licensing education
Enroll with a state-approved pre-licensing education provider and complete the required coursework for property and casualty lines.
Schedule the state examination
Register with your state's designated testing vendor and schedule the property and casualty examination.
Pass the examination
Sit for and pass the state examination. Examination scoring and retake rules are set by the state and its testing vendor.
Fingerprinting and background review
Complete any required fingerprinting and background review. Some states require this before the license application is processed.
Submit the license application
Submit your application and fees through the state's licensing system. Approval timelines are determined by the state insurance department.
Appointment and onboarding
Once licensed, carrier appointments may be requested. After appointment, agency onboarding covers systems, documentation, and compliance standards.
Errors & omissions coverage
Errors and omissions (E&O) insurance is professional liability coverage for insurance professionals. It is designed to respond to claims alleging a mistake or oversight in professional services — for example, an alleged failure to place requested coverage or an alleged error in explaining a policy.
- E&O is a standard expectation for producers working in the insurance industry.
- Coverage terms, limits, deductibles, and exclusions are set by the issuing E&O carrier.
- Producers are generally responsible for maintaining active E&O coverage that meets agency and carrier requirements.
- Specific E&O arrangements are addressed in the written producer agreement, not on this page.
